OCTANe Capital Series - Federal Government Funding Opportunities

As private and venture capital sources of funding are shrinking, the Federal government has expanded the amount of funding available to private sector companies. The challenge for companies is understanding the process and identifying the business opportunities hidden in the labyrinth of government programs.

This program will provide an overview of the programs and funding sources available. It will also provide some concrete steps that companies can take now to get started in this process. April Grant from Fabiani & Company will describe the Federal funding policy landscape for companies advancing technology. We will also hear from Jack Syage, CEO of Syagen Technology. Mr. Syage have extensive experience with SBIR grants and other Federal grants, having been the recipient or nearly 40 government grants and contracts. Both April and Jack will be available to answer questions and provide followup advice.
